DEATHCONTROL “The Endless Echo Of His Own Litany” CD

Debut album of the new band formed by Dopi (MACHETAZO, LEPROPHILIAC, MUTILATED VETERANS, PREMATURE BURIAL, RUINEBELL, ex-BODYBAG, ex-DEADMASK, ex-DISHAMMER…) and experimental/freejazz drummer Avelino Saavedra (ex-MOL). 11 tracks of extreme grindcore inspired by bands like TERRORIZER, BRUTAL TRUTH, D.R.I., THE ACCÜSED. Mastered by the one and only Jason Fuller (BLOOD DUSTER) at Goatsound Studios in Australia.

DEATHCONTROL was created by the union of JM Dopio and Avelino Saavedra, two friends from the early 90s – the golden era of hardcore, crossover, grindcore’s, thrash and death metal, whose paths have crossed and diverged in different directions over the years.

Dopio’s love for the most dirty, extreme and distorted sounds and Avelino’s love for jazz, latino jazz, African music and rock led both to the path of experimental ways of creating music, such as: improvisation, free jazz, cooperation with dance and theater. And finally led to the foundation of DEATHCONTROL with the aim of creating direct, aggressive music, devoid of pre-production and as natural as possible. The result is six tracks inspired by Terrorizer, Brutal Truth, D.R.I., The Accüsed, and five grating interludes that are the result of John Zorn’s most compulsive and extreme passages.
