ANTHRAX “Among The Living” LP

Anthrax is one of the most important bands in American thrash metal and, alongside Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth, a member of the genre’s legendary “Big Four.” Formed in New York City in 1981, the band has distinguished itself from the outset by combining the uncompromising energy of thrash with punk dynamics, a distinctive sense of humor, and powerful, often socially relevant lyrics.

Among the Living is Anthrax’s third studio album, originally released in 1987 and considered one of the most important albums in thrash metal history. The album brought the band immense popularity thanks to classics such as “Caught in a Mosh,” “I Am the Law,” and “Indians.”
