ANTIGAMA „Meteor” CD

A Polish grindcore band formed in late 2000. Since its inception, Antigama has created music blending elements of avant-garde grindcore and experimental noise. Founded by guitarist Sebastian Rokicki (Different State, Garden Of Worm) and drummer Krzysztof Bentkowski (Sparagmos, Damnable), the band released its debut album, *Intellect Made Us Blind*, in 2002; the recording also featured vocalist Łukasz Myszkowski (Sparagmos) and bassist Maciej Moruś (Starzy Singers, Mały Szu). In the following years, the group recorded four full-length albums for various labels (*Discomfort* – 2004, *Zeroland* – 2005, *Resonance* – 2007, and *Warning* – 2009) as well as over a dozen smaller releases (singles, splits, and compilations). In 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Relapse Records. Antigama has toured and performed at festivals across Europe, and in 2009, they toured the US, including a performance at Maryland Deathfest—one of the most prestigious American extreme music festivals.

*Meteor* is their fifth full-length album, featuring eleven compositions that combine uncompromising grindcore with a technical approach, experimentation, and the band’s signature dynamics. Label: Selfmadegod Records – SMG 106
