Hiatus is a Belgian crust punk legend, active since 1989 and one of the most important bands in the European crust/hardcore scene. The band has released iconic albums, including From Resignation to Revolt and The Brain.

Realm of Nightmares features seven new, previously unreleased tracks, recorded following the death of longtime vocalist Wills in 2024. The band has decided to continue, and the new material is both a tribute to their deceased friend and another dose of their distinctive, dark crust punk. Sonically, the album sits somewhere between the classic From Resignation to Revolt and The Brain.
