BANISHER “Metamorphosis” CD (SLIPCASE)

After a six-year hiatus, death metal band BANISHER returns with a new studio album, Metamorphosis.

BANISHER was formed in Rzeszów in 2005 by Hubert Więcek (DIETH, Acid Drinkers (live), ex-Decapitated). Their versatile music can be described as modern death metal, musically mature and technically advanced, yet with gripping and catchy riffs, intense drumming, and aggressive, furious vocals. Inspired by dreams and nightmares, the thought-provoking lyrics reflect a variety of emotions and create a dreamlike atmosphere full of consternation, terror, despair, and anger.

Over the years, BANISHER has included musicians associated with Decapitated, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Belphegor, Vital Remains, DIETH, and Hate.

The band’s latest album, Degrees of Isolation, was released on Selfmadegod Records in 2020. After releasing three new singles between 2023 and 2024, BANISHER embarked on the Aftermath Tour, playing 12 shows across Poland. In 2025, the band joined forces with Terrordome and Dormant Ordeal for the Triple XX Tour—a joint tour celebrating the bands’ 20th anniversary, culminating in a special concert in their hometown of Rzeszów during the Rockowa Noc festival. Heading into 2026, BANISHER returns with fresh energy and a new album, Metamorphosis.
