BRODEQUIN “Methods Of Execution” LP (Silver)

“Methods of Execution” is a work of brutal death metal inspired by medieval torture, executions, and the history of archaic forms of punishment. Brodequin prioritize maximum intensity: lightning-fast riffs, dense drumming, deep growls, and short, relentless compositions. The music is raw, technical, and devoid of unnecessary embellishments, while its historical subject matter lends it an exceptionally grim atmosphere. The album concludes with a title track spanning over seven minutes—a piece that stands out against the shorter, more explosive bursts of sound.

Formed in 1998 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Brodequin quickly gained recognition within the brutal death metal scene. The band’s name refers to a historical instrument of torture, and their lyrics focus on medieval punishments and executions. Their style combines extreme tempos, technical precision, and uncompromising brutality. Tracklist:
