MOONSPELL “Irreligious” LP

Moonspell is a Portuguese band that played a key role in the development of European gothic metal. The Lisbon-based band combines heavy metal with a dark, gothic atmosphere, elements of doom and black metal, and the distinctive, deep vocals of Fernando Ribeira.

“Irreligious,” Moonspell’s second studio album, was originally released in 1996 and quickly became one of the most important releases in the history of European gothic metal. The album brought the band international recognition, and songs like “Opium,” “Ruin & Misery,” and “Full Moon Madness” became classics.
