NEUROPATHIA is one of the distinctive bands of the Polish grindcore scene, operating at the intersection of brutal extreme metal, punk energy, and an underground DIY aesthetic. In Neuropathia’s work, musical brutality often contrasts with subversive titles and an unconventional sense of humor. For years, Neuropathia has remained an active part of the Polish underground, appearing on numerous split releases, EPs, and compilations. The format of short, collaborative releases with other bands suits the group’s character perfectly.

STRAIGHT HATE represents the younger generation of Polish grindcore. Hailing from Radom, the band has focused on an extreme, fast, and aggressive variant of the genre since its inception. Straight Hate’s music is deeply rooted in the classic grindcore formula: short tracks, an intense rhythm section, a heavy guitar sound, and vocals driven by maximum expression.

The Neuropathia and Straight Hate split is an excellent example of how the Polish grindcore scene operates—a meeting of two bands representing different generations yet moving within the same extreme tradition.

The material is short and intense, true to the nature of the genre. Neuropathia contributes three tracks, while Straight Hate provides four compositions. The entire release lasts just over ten minutes, but this format fits the release’s aesthetic perfectly.
