PSYCH-WAR “Psychotic Warmonger” LP

Eleven tracks of pure crust punk, the likes of which I haven’t heard in a while. The influences are numerous, but Sweden is the master. The voice sometimes reminds me of Jonsson from early Wolfpack, other times Jocke from Dischange/Meanwhile. Musically, Tompy were definitely a huge influence before Disfear. But Psych-War doesn’t stop there; in fact, there are also hints of motorpunk and a few nice mid-tempo tracks, all enhanced by pleasant Bolt Thrower-esque guitar work and stinking breakdowns that enhance this album’s strength. I won’t add anything more and leave the rest to you to judge.
