Sacrilege. Formed in the mid-1980s, Sacrilege emerged from the British DIY underground with a sound that combined the political urgency of anarcho with the heaviness of Discharge and the growing darkness that would later define their transition into thrash and doom. The album features demos from 1984 and 1985, capturing the band at their most direct and uncompromising – frantic, unpolished, and driven by conviction – as well as a previously unreleased live set recorded at London’s Ambulance Station squat in 1985, a raw document of their power within the chaotic squat scene of the time.
