SIX FEET UNDER “Haunted” LP

Haunted is the debut album by Six Feet Under and one of the classics of American death metal of the 1990s. Originally released in 1995, the material presents a more groove-driven and accessible approach to the genre, featuring Chris Barnes’ distinctive, low-pitched vocals and heavy, slower riffs. It’s death metal that’s less technical, yet incredibly massive and atmospheric, with a distinct influence of horror aesthetics and a dark atmosphere.

The album quickly gained cult status among fans of heavier, “old-school” music and became a cornerstone of Six Feet Under’s style.
