VAMPIRE “What Seems Forever Can Be Broken” LP

VAMPIRE – What Seems Forever Can Be Broken LP

The European release of the debut album by the Australian band Vampire. It features ten tracks from a group that is arguably the best anarcho-punk band currently in existence. The recording’s dynamics are captivatingly simple; the sound is powerful yet raw, stripped of unnecessary embellishments or stylized production. The band relies on gritty, distorted guitars, hypnotic basslines, and steady drumming, all complemented by a vocal blend of three voices that perfectly balances melody with vitriol. In a world dominated by digital precision and quantization, their compositions—tense yet hauntingly melodic—reveal an endearing human spirit. This is a modern anarcho-punk classic—a remarkable phenomenon emerging four decades after the inception of the great bands that pioneered the genre (particularly those from England). The release includes a poster and a lyric insert.
