WEEDEATER “Goliathan” LP Gatefold Gatefold

The notorious rock outlaws of WEEDEATER return with “Goliathan” – their long-awaited new album. “Goliathan” is a point where authentic Southern rock/metal meets raw humor and old-time religion; the record perfectly captures the band’s signature style—brimming with a loose, swinging rhythm and unshakeable confidence. Heavy, “sticky,” slow-crawling riffs are bolstered by a bass tone as deep as a canyon and drumming with an impact reminiscent of Keith Moon himself. Relentless, powerful tracks like “Cain Enabler,” “Claw of the Sloth,” and the aptly titled “Bully” prove that “Goliathan” is the quintessential WEEDEATER statement—a body of work destined to become a benchmark for the Southern sludge metal genre.
