KRMELEC “Hell´s Leaving Your House” CD

## Krmelec – *Hell’s Leaving Your House*

Krmelec is a Czech project exploring heavy metal and musical parody. Instead of a deadly serious approach to metal conventions, the band opts for absurdity, grotesquery, dark humor, and playful play on characteristic motifs of the Czech and Slavic metal scenes. *Hell’s Leaving Your House* is a release full of exaggerated lyrics, absurd ideas, and metal interpretations of well-known compositions.

The 2022 album features thirteen tracks in the spirit of satirical, heavy music. Krmelec utilizes both their own compositions and subversive reworkings of songs by bands such as Krabathor, Master’s Hammer, Törr, Tublatanka, and Pet Shop Boys. The overall effect is consciously kitschy, absurd, and distanced from metal stereotypes.

This is primarily for listeners who enjoy heavy metal with a generous dose of humor, parody, and absurdity, as well as for fans of the Czech metal scene and its unique sense of humor. ### Release details
